Jack St. Clair Kilby passed away June 20, 2005, in Dallas following a brief battle with cancer.
He was one of those few men who could look around and say “I changed this world” !.
For those who don’t know who is Jack Kilby – He is the inventor of the IC ( Integrated Circuit ) which is an essetnial part in all the electronic devices today. Without his invetntion the human race could not have evolved this way. We can’t even think about radio, tv , computers …. without ICs. His invention made technology to leap huge distances forward. It made electronic devices smaller and cheaper. The interesting part is that he achieved this during a vacation and when his company was facing a lock-out!.
Good Bye Jack… You sure will be remembered in our hearts.

I guess not much people noticed the news. Reminds me of everyone’s committed to change something. Some make changes effective on the whole world, some make it to his country, some makes it to the society, some makes it to his family and some makes it to themselves and all die with dignity and rememberance. (Do we really feel sad that this guy is dead?)
