Today , the Maharashtra State Govt. banned the use of plastic bags across the state, especially in Mumbai City.

I would say this came a bit late. Anywhere you go in this metro , you’ll get to see chocked up drainages because of the plastic bags and other rubbish which simply refuses to “die”. May the Govt. realised this fact after the heavy rains and the flood that followed. Anyways, better late than never!

I remember , something similar had been enforced a few years ago in Mumbai city. But it simply did not work out because it was ignored by the public as well as the authorities. This time, I hope they would practice the preach.
